Stronger Bulldogs

Stronger Bulldogs

Bryant University went Division 1 in Athletics my freshmen year way back in 2012. But man, have we dominated the league since then.

The Men Sports that Bryant offers are baseball, basketball, cross country, football, gold, lacrosse, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, and track & field. On the Women’s side, we offer basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

Every year we have won more and more championships and, more specifically, the past two years we won the Commissioner’s Cup, which signifies the best overall athletic program in the conference! It can’t get any better than that, right?

Guess what? It can! We now have a brand new Bulldog Strength and Conditioning Facilitiy! It is 10,00 square feet and student-athletes can use better and improved equipment. This facility is large enough so student-athletes can now rotate in shifts and is twice the size of the other gym where students can work out! In the new facility, there are weightlifting stations, workout areas, nutrition stations, and an indoor turf area where people can run. All my friends who are athletes are constantly talking about how lucky they are to use it.

Even though it is reserved for only athletes, I ended up checking it out last week. Man oh man, it is beautiful. It is surrounded by windows so all you see is the outdoors. It is also located right near the field goal post on the football field so you can see the football team practice as well. The new machines are state of the art and there’s enough room in there to play capture the flag. Okay, that may not be the best idea, but you get the point.

Bryant continues to offer amazing programs and always provides ways for our students and athletes to have the best “Bryant Experience” as possible.
