Keep Calm, It’s SPRING BREAK!

Spring Break is here and all of Bryant is in cheer……

After going through a full week or two of midterms and homework, you could probably imagine how excited the Bryant campus is for Spring Break to finally be here. Spring Break gives us the perfect opportunity to destress and possibly catch up on the sleep that we’ve lost over the past two weeks.

There are many different destinations or plans that Bryant students have for this year’s spring break and after talking to a few individuals that I know on campus, I am going to share with you some of these destinations.

A few Bryant students are heading home for Spring Break this year. Home is where the heart is and sometimes it is good to go home and enjoy the time with your loved ones, enjoying a home cooked meal from your mom or dad and not to mention, sleeping in your own bed! A relaxing spring break at home is often the perfect remedy to a stressful week of exams.

The Senior Class of 2016 may have different plans for Spring Break this year. It is their Senior year and the perfect opportunity to make the most amazing memories with some of your closest friends. A few of the destinations that I have heard are Punta Cana and Cancun, which are very popular destinations for Spring Break; or even going on a cruise to a tropical destination. Why not spend your Spring Break enjoying the warmth and working on your tan?

Alternative Spring Break is also another option open to the entire Bryant campus where a few students are selected to venture out to Washington, D.C. to participate in a variety of community service activities. I participated in this last year and I can tell you that it is one of the most fulfilling experiences., to give back and to see how much you can change another person’s life. Not only are you giving back but you are also immersed into the culture that city has to offer. The program also gives students a day to explore the city. If you have the opportunity to go on the Alternative Spring Break, I strongly suggest that you do.

You should enjoy your Spring Break the way you want to, whether it is going to a tropical destination or enjoying your time at home.

Have a good Spring Break!
