Back to Bryant!

Spring semester is here!

Wow it’s been a crazy couple weeks since moving back into my dorm. First the IDEA Fair, then getting back to classes, and of course the Patriots winning the Super Bowl! But as we get further into the spring, there’s a whole lot more to experience. Here’s a couple of the bigger events to look forward to coming to campus this semester:

Bryant CEO Guest Speaker: Saturday March 4th. As one of the premier chapters of the CEO Club Organization, Bryant continues to create fantastic events open to students. This year’s BUNEEC event features special guest speaker Kevin Harrington, one of the original “Sharks” on the hit entrepreneurship show Shark Tank! I’ll definitely be going; it is a great way to learn about the steps to success from a nationally renown figure in the business world.

Spring Concert: Date TBA. The Spring Concert Weekend is back! Though we’re still waiting to hear who the performer will be, I can tell you it’s going to be a great weekend. Previous performers include Wacka Flacka Flame, Mike Stud, and T-Pain! Can’t wait to see who President Machtley got for 2017! Date is not announced as of now, so keep a lookout for it!

REDay: Wednesday April 12th. This campus-wide event is a great way to learn more about innovation. The day is filled with keynote speakers and workshops to teach students about “fostering innovation through scholarship and creativity.” Our featured presenter is Robert Schlesinger, an author and journalist who currently works as Managing Editor of Opinion for U.S. News and World Report. Sign-ups are online with a submission deadline on March 15th.

Spring Career Fair: Wednesday February 22nd. Looking to explore career paths related to your major? Check out the Spring Career Fair! Over 80 organizations will be present from across all industries, so you can find almost any line of work you might be interested in. Looking for an internship? Many of these companies can get you started on the path to an internship or maybe even a part-time job! This is a fantastic event for networking, and I highly encourage students of any class to attend, especially seniors who are starting to line up post-graduation job opportunities. Sign up through Banner on the Amica Center page!

Have an event you want to learn more about? I’ll be posting more events throughout the semester, but you can also look at our full events calendar on !
